It is estimated that more than 25% of active-duty military families and 10% of veteran families in our area need assistance with groceries. We’re here to help!
The ASYMCA Killeen Five Star Food Market is Armed Services YMCA Killeen’s newest effort to combat this issue in the community we serve. This program helps military families worry less about hunger and focus on mission readiness by ensuring regular access to meal supplies and snacks.
The second location of the Five Star Food Market is now open! Come see us at ASYMCA Killeen Downtown (415 N. 8th Street, Killeen, TX 76541) on Saturdays from 8 AM – 12 PM.
Active duty and veteran families that could use a little help with groceries can bring an ID with the appropriate service distinction to our Harker Heights Wellness Center on Thursdays or to ASYMCA Killeen Downtown on Saturdays. At either of these locations, they can choose the groceries their family wants and needs, perishables included, free of charge.
First come, first served. No registration is required.
