CHILD CARE & CAMP
Armed Services YMCA Killeen offers drop-in care at our gym, camp opportunities, and low-cost, high-quality, State-licensed Before & After School Care for elementary students in Central Texas.
With a state-of-the-art facility, 80 free fitness classes a week, two hours of Child Watch a day, special member pricing on programs and child care, free support seminars, and a commitment to supporting military families, we are more than just a gym. Learn More
We work with installation leadership to ensure a network of support for military families at Fort Cavazos and in the surrounding areas. Thanks to this collaboration, we can identify and address gaps in services that pose a hardship to service members and their families—hardships that can negatively affect mission readiness.
Operation Little Learners
Operation Little Learners is an interactive education program that offers new parents and their children ages 2-5 an opportunity to learn and grow together.
Operation Hero
Operation Hero is a no-cost after-school program designed to help military kids who may be struggling with change get back on track at home and in school.
Emergency Food Assistance
Armed Services YMCA Killeen aids military families by providing food items in times of crisis, such as pandemics, natural disasters, or financial emergencies.
